We are writing to inform you about the launching of Uruguay Round 2009, which is going to be held from December 1st-3rd, 2008, in the Radisson Montevideo Victoria Plaza Hotel, Montevideo – Uruguay.
Uruguay Round 2009 is the first call for bids for Hydrocarbons’ Exploration and Production Contracts in the Uruguayan off-shore.
The Round will comprise conferences regarding business and investment in the upstream of Uruguay. Such conferences will bring together the main authorities of the Uruguayan government in addition to the principal directors of ANCAP (National Association Combustible Alcohol and Portland) , consultants and executives of the E&G sector, with the aim to illustrate about investment opportunities in E&P in the offshore Uruguayan basins.
Lectures will involve the following subjects: energy, environment, geology, economy and finance.
In addition to that, the FIRST SOUTHERN REGION GAS HYDRATE MEETING will be held, in relation to recent and expected developments of this particular resource in South America, as well as other region’s case studies.
